NUTRITION

In addition to providing energy to the body, nutrition means nourishing the brain, perception, hormones, and nourishing individual and even social health. When solid and liquid foods, which are of great importance in holistic health, are prepared with the right combinations, techniques and consumed at the right times, they mean a healthy body, a fresh mind, a clean perception and happiness, especially for children.

 

The menus produced by the expert staff of the Healthy Food Cook by CK with scientific data and presented with cheerful visuals await our children who want to consume healthy foods happily.We provide a delicious assorted food with the kids friendly outlooking designed menus. We provide a balanced diet which meets the children’s nutrtional needs.Junk food and packet juice are not allowed in our school,we serve home made yoghurt,home made jam and daily milk..Every day, a nutritious diet with breakfast, lunch, afternoon breakfast and fruit is established for children. Each month’s menu is released with monthly newsletter.

 

Kids have meal three times a day in SPS.They start the day with breakfast,in the afternoon we have lunch time and before going home we have snack time. The children and educators sit together in small groups to eat their meals. It’s a space where educators are able to role model positive eating habits, table manners and language when dining at the table. Research shows that children whose parents eat more fruits and vegetables typically eat more of these foods themselves, in the preschool setting, the educators play the role of parents in these situations. It is also a great way to establish trusting relationships between the educators and children.

 

A growing preschooler needs 1 to 2 healthy snacks every day. Make snack time healthy with fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy to help your child get all the nutrients he needs. And you don’t have to be a great cook — healthy snacks can be fast and easy to make!

 

During the preschool years kids should be eating the same foods as adults with an emphasis on those with nutritional value.This icludes fresh vegetables and fruits,low fat dairy products ( milk,yoğurt,cheese)lean meats(chicken,turkey,fish,lean hamburger)and whole grain and bread.And at the same time limit or eliminate the junk food in child’s diet,and get ridof sugared beverages as well. Agrowing preschooler needs 1 to 2 ealthy snacks every day.
